Account & Access

How EuroInsider access works after a purchase through Digistore24, how organisation access is provisioned after a signed order form, and which account features are planned but not available.

Two ways to get access

EuroInsider (self-service)Organisations
How you buyOnline through Digistore24Written proposal or order form
Your dataImport CSV/TSV files in the browserAPI data connection configured by our team
Sign-inPersonal access link, no passwordProvisioned by our team
TermFixed access period, no renewalAs stated in the order form

Both use the same workspace and the same analysis sections. Before buying, you can try the workspace with the illustrative datasets at /demo.

EuroInsider access

  1. Purchase. Choose a plan on the EuroInsider page and complete the checkout on Digistore24. Digistore24 handles the payment and the invoice.
  2. Access page. Immediately after payment, Digistore24 redirects you to your access page at /thankyou. It shows your plan, your access end date and your personal access link.
  3. Open EuroInsider. Select Open EuroInsider, or open your personal access link. The link signs in the device you open it on and takes you to the workspace at /app.

Digistore24's purchase confirmation email contains a link back to your access page, so you can return to it at any time.

No passwords

EuroInsider does not use user accounts or passwords. Your personal access link is your credential: keep it private and do not share it. Opening the link stores the strictly necessary ei_access cookie on that device (see the Cookie Policy).

Signing in on another device

Open the same personal access link on the other device, for example by copying it from your access page or opening the access page from your purchase confirmation email there. Each device stays signed in until your access end date, or until you select Sign out in the workspace or clear the browser's cookies.

If you are signed out

If you open /app on a device that is not signed in, you are taken to the EuroInsider sign-in page. Open your personal access link again to continue. If the page says the link is invalid or has expired, check that you copied the complete link and that your access period has not ended.

Lost access link

Open your access page again through the link in your Digistore24 purchase confirmation email. If you no longer have the email, write to support@insidermagazin.com with your Digistore24 order ID and we will issue a new access link.

Access period and expiry

PlanAccess
EuroInsider — 12-Month Access12 months
EuroInsider Saved Workspace (add-on)No access of its own; adds saved datasets to an existing access, for as long as that access runs
EuroInsider Extended Access — 24 Months24 months from the date of that purchase, instead of 12
EuroInsider Team Access — 3 Additional UsersThree additional personal access links, each valid for 12 months

Your access end date is shown on your access page and, on wider screens, in the workspace header (“Access until …”). All purchases are one-time payments with no automatic renewal. When the access period ends, the access link and the sign-in on your devices stop working; you are not charged again.

Your data in EuroInsider

EuroInsider lets you import your own CSV or TSV files with Import data. Files are read and processed in your browser only; they are never uploaded to or stored by Insider Magazin. Without add-ons, an imported dataset is available until you close or reload the page, so you import the file again in each session. With the optional EuroInsider Saved Workspace add-on, up to 20 imported datasets are kept in your browser on that device (IndexedDB) and appear in the dataset list next time; remove one with Remove. Saved datasets are not synchronised to other devices and are deleted if you clear the browser's site data. The built-in illustrative datasets remain available. How to import a file is described in Getting Started.

Organisation access

For organisations that want their data connected directly from their own systems, access is set up in a consultative process:

  1. Demo. You explore the workspace with the illustrative datasets at /demo, or request a guided demo from the sales team.
  2. Proposal and order form. You receive a written proposal or order form that states the scope, price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms. Nothing is binding before you sign it.
  3. Provisioning. After the order form is signed, the Insider Magazin team provisions access to your workspace.
  4. Data connection. During onboarding, the team connects your data through the API adapter (see below).

User management for organisations

For organisation contracts, our team issues an access for each user named by the Customer, up to the number stated in the order form, and removes an access on written request.

The public demo

The demo at /demo requires no purchase and no sign-in, and uses only the illustrative datasets, which contain no personal data. Statistics are computed in your browser. Nothing you select or filter in the demo is saved by Insider Magazin. File import is not available in the demo; it is part of EuroInsider.

The demo uses the same analysis sections as EuroInsider and the organisation workspace: Overview, Data Explorer, Frequency Analysis, Distributions, Historical Trends, Comparisons and Reports.

Connecting your data through the API (organisations)

For organisation contracts, customer data is read through a server-side adapter from an HTTPS API that your organisation operates. The API returns datasets in the documented JSON format; responses are validated before use. The contract, validation rules and error behaviour are described in Platform Overview.

The connection is configured by the Insider Magazin team during onboarding, using the server environment variables DATA_SOURCE=api, ANALYTICS_API_URL and, if your API requires it, ANALYTICS_API_TOKEN. The token is sent only from the server to your API as a bearer token; it is never sent to the browser.

What to prepare

  • An HTTPS base URL that serves GET /datasets and GET /datasets/{id}.
  • A token with read-only access to those endpoints, if your API requires authentication.
  • For each dataset: unit, value label, category label, list of categories, value kind (continuous or discrete) and recording precision.
  • Observations with a stable ID, a date as YYYY-MM-DD (UTC calendar day), a finite numeric value, a category and a source label.
  • A contact on your side who can correct records that fail validation.

Data is read, not copied

The adapter reads datasets from your API when they are requested and caches responses on the server for up to five minutes. Statistics are computed in the browser of the person using the workspace.

Planned, not available

The following capabilities are planned. They are not available today, and no delivery date is committed. Do not base a purchase decision on them.
